When women love a man, they are loyal to him to a fault. They will fight to remain by his side. They map out a very clear future with him at the helm and they stay committed in showing up for him in devotion every day for the rest of their lives.
Their self-esteem often seems to be tied in with the image of the man thus if he's a winner, she feels like she's winning too. And if he's a loser, as in he's a porn addicted loser, she feels like she should be losing too.
Through his porn addiction, women feel that the man is punishing them for merely existing and unfortunately, they become trauma bonded to him. They are deluged with a massive cocktail of negative feelings and emotions (and their accompanying hormones) that come flooding in each time they find out he's using porn or when they even suspect he's using it.
The negative emotions are a result of:
- Witnessing the kind of sex he's watching on the internet. How it widely varies. He may be looking at more "milder" porn or very extreme porn. And what he's looking at may make you feel even more rotten inside (my next points below)
